Business Forecasting with North Sails
Professor Mark Nadler at AU has given me the opportunity to gain experience in business forecasting by advising an independent study on the topic. We spent the fall semester of my senior year studying different forecasting methods, and now in the spring we are working with real-world data! I was able to make a connection with an old family friend at North Sails who gave me access to their sales data. I will be analyzing the data to learn more about what types of sails are purchased by which markets, and when. Further, we want to explore these findings from a geographical perspective.

Volunteer Experience
I have been spending a few hours every week of my senior year volunteering at the Ashland Cat House Feline Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a no-kill shelter where around 40 cats get to have a safe place to stay until they find their forever home. During my time there, I work with other volunteers to maintain their main building. I gave almost 20 hours in my fall semester, and am on track to give around 40 hours this spring!

Executive Administrator
In 2021, I was elected as my sorority's Executive Administrator to serve on Alpha Phi Epsilon Alpha's Executive Counsel for the 2021 term. Within my position, I reinvented an accountability system for the entire chapter known as a "point system", I expanded the chapter's utilization of our organization's app, took more detailed meeting minutes, and ran the chapter's email. All of the changes I made to the position are being continued in the new term! I also set up countless Zoom meetings, booked rooms, and constantly communicated with different departments, clubs, and organizations around campus.
